I always went to the local Methodist Church. I have memories of attending bible school, Sunday school and singing in the choir during my high school years. As often happens when I attended college (I have a B.S. in Art Education) I stopped attending church and had no connection with people or things of faith. After college I married and nine years later our daughter, Dana was born. I taught school for several years then worked in our family furniture business but for the last forty years I have had my own art business specializing in painting miniature lighthouses.
I want to share with you now how and why I came back to faith. I want those of you who have major issues in your life whether they be do to physical problems, family issues or emotional concerns that you are not alone, you are not the only one! I have personally been confronted with panic attacks, depression, chronic fatigue syndrome and marital difficulties. It was not until I was at the lowest point in my life that I picked up my bible and began the road back. God in His mercy put me ( and my husband) on the doorstep of a Godly women who became our mentor and through years of study with she and her husband, I now can honestly say I am healed and set free ( although still a work in progress).
My life now is God centered and good! I am ministering in several local nursing homes with teaching and bible studies. The Holy Spirit has brought me to a place of increasing intimacy and understanding of God, Jesus Christ and His Spirit. I am so excited about what God has for me in the years ahead. My prayer for you is that through Fresh Manna from God, you too will find the direction and guidance God has for you. I look forward to sharing visions and words the Holy Spirit gives me. I want you to share with me and everyone who reads these blogs how God is moving in your life. God is moving and we need to follow His lead.
Until next week,
